This time next week, the regular season will be over, and the 16 good/lucky teams will move on to the playoffs. To the other 44 teams, commiserations and better luck next year. We've enjoyed having you along for the ride - even if it did end in a train wreck! :'(

Here's how things look going into the last week...

In the SC4Devotion League, the Jenress Skydrakar (94-64) and Harahan Inferno (91-67) have locked up the Northern and Western Divisions, respectively, while in the Eastern Division the Watersford Forkers (100-58) and Richmond Railheads (97-61) have both clinched playoff spots, but are still fighting over the Division title. In the South, the Utan Sea Dogs (95-63) require just one more win, or one loss from the Channai Wildcats (91-67) to claim the title, while the Earlton Silverhawks (77-81) have an uphill struggle to overcome the Flint Blackhawks (80-78) in the Central Division.
Despite one of the three Wild Cards being locked up for the loser of the Watersford/Richmond battle, the remaining two are far less certain. Channai lead the pack by 1 game from the Carolina Gold Sox (90-68), but neither of them are safe yet from the Escambia City Pelicans (88-70) and the Fortuna Keys (87-71), while the Vernon Hills Titans (86-72) are still in with a mathematical chance.

A similar situation exists in the Simtropolis League, where the Mobile Polecats (96-62) have wrapped up the Atlantic Division, the SLB-leading Wamsutta Aspen (102-56) own the Midwestern title, and the Greenville Industrialists (98-60) have taken the Northwestern Division from bitter rivals Spider Hills. In the Eurasian League, the North Brabant Bandits (94-64) hold a 3-game lead from the Andrewtropolis Transformers (91-67), while the Little Rouge Red Dragons (90-68) take a slender 2-game margin over the Atlas Island Storm (88-70) into the final week.
The three Wild Cards for the ST League are the subject of a bitter battle between eight teams. Andrewtropolis lead, 1 game ahead of the Spider Hills Spiders (90-68), with the Sessquenna Commodores (89-69) grasping the last playoff spot a further game back. The Fortuna Grizzlies (88-70) and Atlas Island lead the group hoping to displace one of the top three, one game behind Sessquenna, with the Gloucester Meteors (87-71) two back, the Alton Claymores (86-72) an outside chance at three back, and the Vasai Cyclones (85-73) a longshot at 4 games back.
