(American) College Football

Is anyone interested in an international college football league?

EA Sports has a site called teambuilder where we can customize uniforms, rosters, stadiums etc. I could simulate games on NCAA Football 12 and post results.

I would need:

City name
University name
Stadium name
Primary Logo
Secondary logo
Team colors
pic of city and univ
rough real world location
and anything else you want me to know.

These have been tried before, but not for years, but I would have interest if others did

Best case scenario would be 12 teams because I am limited to that number for season and dynasty mode. However, it would be possible to have up to 120 teams with which I could still simulate in exhibition mode. If we have 12 or less I could make all teams independents in dynasty mode and have the teams play only other the other 11 teams in a full round-robin. This way season and career stats would be readily available, injuries and suspensions would be a factor, and the offseason would be enabled (Includes: recruiting, spring training, coaching carousel, etc.). It also appears that teambuilder limits the location to US and Canada only. The name of the city can be ficticious, however, it does require me to pick a state with D.C. and Canada on that list. I wanted this to be international, but it seems I am restricted most likely due to the recruiting pool only including talent from North America.

Fall is still a ways away so I am completely open to ideas.

if only you me and K50 dude then we should do 4 each to make 12 total. preferably we would have at least 6 people with two teams each.

Also, I was hoping to mirror the ncaa football schedule (aug-jan) so I will probably leave registration open until july or early august. I think its safe to say that you could go ahead and register 2 teams now and we can add more later.(12 teams is not the cap, but it is ideal.)

You could also run two seasons? One now to whenever and then an ncaa season.

wacky32, i figured out the problem to the link. What is the name of your teambuilder team? I will have to search for it manually as the direct link will not work. also, if you could make sure it is not marked as private.

I always have trouble with EA sports but I'll give it a shot.

Wacky32. cool teams. I will upload soon. I forgot to mention that if you make your stadium a bowl game stadium or other nuetral field then the crowd will be split in the game. It is fine with me if that's what you want but it will have an effect on your home field advantage. This is one of the shortfalls I hope they will mend in NCAA13.

Wacky32, Thanks. They look awesome. I will upload some pics of my own soon when I decide which univ i will use. btw, there is nothing wrong with a smaller univ. like rice, tulsa, and wake forest but i must admit I can't help but expand everyone that I build.

sorry wacky32. I found out the problem. in the teambuilder website top rigt corner go to "change persona" and select xbox 360. I have discovered that i can't find teams on my ps3 that were created by a "web" persona for some reason, however, i can find them if they are either xbox360 or ps3. you may have to recreate those teams. sorry for the confusion.

I am going to make the schedule soon. I can either do an 11 game full round robin or i can add 1 "non-conference" game to each teams schedule to make an even 12 games. any prefrences?
