I take it you're not following the normal definition of an 'Olympic' sport?

Also noticed that road cycling (road race, individual time trial) is not on the list. You don't even need a venue for that!

Yeah we started with a vague list of Olympic sports and then added some unorfodox ones (Tug of War etc). But it's all going to be changed very soon.

Thanks.

We tried to have a balance between complete realism and what is fun to watch. I mean, having 30 odd Swimming events when the SC4 pictures would all be the same would be very boring. Same goes for having 8 different boxing categories. I think we've reached a good medium though Smile.

Re: List of Simlympic events

We've increased the events list from 90 events to 148, so more nations can win medals and to make the medal table more competitive.

The new events are mostly expanded events (So, more boxing) rather than new sports. To ensure a smooth transition for bidders and hosts.

We'll look into it. Unfortunately we won't be able to add it to the schedule for July, but it's possible it could be in by the next games after that.

The para-simlympics is something we added when there were only about 20 Simlympic events, so at the time it was the right number. Since then we've been focussing on the Simlympic part of the games and consequently the ParaSimlympics have fallen behind a little, it's still definitely something we're looking to build on in the future though.
