Should start over again Dimland?
Should start over again Dimland?
i m thinking stop playing the British edition of sim city and start everything from the begining. the new Dimland will be based in Athens. i think that i can built the most realistic city ever created in sim city. these two pictures is a temporary plan of how the new Penthesili will be. your opinion counts.

NOOOOOO!!!! (well, maybe) but i think that you should keep Penthesili, Dimland the way it is and fix it to make it more realistic, or more Athens-like. Dimland is beautiful the way it is! But it would be interesting to see a realistic Athens in SC...
(PS: there's a British Sim City???)

Re: Should start over again Dimland?
ummm well you could use the city files and transfer them over and possibly fix them up
but again though it's your call I'v erebuilt Rorysville City 3 seperate times each one making it more realistic so I see where your comming from

erm...
I think I choose not to vote because both the old and new Dimland is kinda good.

I don't mean this offensively, but I doubt it. You're good but there's a lot of great city builders out there that I don't think you match up to yet...maybe after a couple of years.
On the issue of whether or not to restart Dimland, I think that's more of a personal decision than one that should be voted on. Maybe you should start to build the newer version and if you think it is truely better, than get rid of the old one.

Re: Should start over again Dimland?
Thanks guys for voting. You helped me a lot. Your comments are always welcome whether are good or bad.
CraigKingOfIreland I never said that I’m the best player but I m really ambitious. And I believe that I can achieve that. Sometimes it works and some others not. What can be realistic is relative. And of course there are many players that hardly anyone can top their skills. By saying that I can build the most realistic city, I didn’t mean to be an arrogant man, but a man who trust himself and have the strength to announce it to the community without the fear of humiliation. I like those people who doubt about my abilities (I’m not talking only for this game but also in real life) because make me to work harder and the most times to achieve my aim. So thanks mate for your advice and your suggestions. And as I said before your comments are always welcome

Re: Should start over again Dimland?
Everyone thinks they can build the "most realistic city ever" hell I do that time to time even though I know it's not going to happen. I still think Dimland should be kept in-tact it is one of the best cities I've seen and to destroy it would be a mistake. To maybe rebuild it, or tighten things up change them around would be really cool. But to completely destroy and build a new city I just don't think is a good idea.

Re: Should start over again Dimland?
its up to you. sometimes starting from scratch can greatly enhance your ability to play. I found with Svordendar just rebuilding helped, but only so far. both sides have their pros and cons
