Youth games anyone?
Since we are having three Simlympics scheduled this year, why not have one of them a youth games? Like October or April? I mean we prolly dont have to change much, but instead of adult athletes, it'll be teens competing.
This is just some crazy idea that popped into my head as I was working on Chihiro's bid. What do you guys think?

Re: Youth games anyone?
I'm sure you guys have heard of the Youth Olympic Games, both summer and winter version. Next year in 2010, the first ever summer Youth Olympic Games will be held in Singapore, my home country.
Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is a toned down version of the Olympic Games. Basically, instead in focusing on winning the YOG, it focus more on education of the Olympics and the sports. New infrastructure doesn't need to be build as existing infrastructures can be used for the YOGs. Still, it needs an Olympic Village. Of course, the athletics are youths.
YOGs also requires less capital to build and manage the YOGs as existing infrastructures only requires upgrade and renovation.
Check "Youth Olympic Games" on wikipedia for more info.
