SLB '09: AAA Leagues
AAA ball is back!
The minor league version of the SLB, the AAA
For teams new to the SLB, this can be a great way to get a taste before launching into the 2010 SLB, so get your entries in before Christmas and join in all the fun and awful seventh inning singing!
Those who wish to progress to owning a Major League SLB team (or two, or three...) should have a look at the league requirements too:
The SLB Rulebook wrote:In the interest of providing a varied competition, prospective owners are limited to three SLB teams each, with a maximum of two teams in either league (ie. two in ST and one in SC4D, or vice versa). Teams will be accepted from towns and cities with a metropolitan population over 10,000 according to the following restrictions:
A single city (metropolitan area) can have a maximum of:
>10k population = 1 minor league team
>100k population = 1 SLB team OR 1 minor league team
>500k population = 1 SLB team & 1 minor league team
>1.0M population = 2 SLB teams & 1 minor league team
If your team is new to the Major Leagues, an overview picture of your city / stadium will be required to show you have the necessary population base (100,000 sims minimum).
Also note teams cannot be moved (renamed) while in an active league.
AAA also has a three-teams-per-person limit, so it is possible to have six active teams if you arrange everything properly.
