SLB All-Star Game 2009

The SimCity League Baseball All-Star Game will be held on June 22, 2009. Featuring the finest players from the Simtropolis League up against the stars of the SC4Devotion League, this year's Midsummer Classic is bound to be just that - a classic!

This is your chance to be a (big) part of the All-Star Game: we need a host Smile

Someone to stage the game, pay for the fireworks, Zambrano-proof the coolers, and put on a show for the 50 best players in the SLB, and of course the thousands of fans in your city and across SimNation and SimWorld.

So if you have a large, well-appointed baseball stadium (not necessarily occupied by an SLB team) in your city that you'd like to host this glamorous event, post some pics of it and your city here and show me how you'd put on a party! Very Happy

The host will be announced with the teams on June 20.

I have a beautiful location. But unfortunately I am not familiar in creating fireworks effects. I showcased the Hypertrophy World's Fair on the COFR Site.

lol no but I did hope to have at least 1 from each team I mean we see it in every sports league even the Nats get an all star I mean really what happened to them? teh railcats were doing so good at the start

I guess being 13 games back didn't help their cause...
Other sports can get away with having at least one per team because the roster size is significantly larger than the number of teams. With 28 teams per league, we don't have that luxury.
Besides, OOTP picked the teams, not me Smile
