Updates from the Land of the Golden Pheonix

With the games right around the corner Perthshire's athletes are busily preparing for what's been called the redeem games after Perthshire had to pull funds for many teams for the July games.

As expected the Judo and Taekwondo teams are expected to very well in Leah, and expectations are sky high after disappointments in July.

Swimming saw a huge boost for the first time in Perthshire's simlympic history they received a large grant of money from the Perthsherian simlympic committee. Tennis and Equestrian were the other big winners this time around after Perthshire built 2 large stadiums on the country club grounds in North Perthshire. The stadiums allowed both programs to work hard and increase there chances for the games.

Baseball was a big looser for Perthshire; despite strong runs in the SBL funding was cut slightly for the Baseball program. Football also took a loss in funding.

The real winner though has to be the team that wasn't even supposed to be there; Son-lio will enter Pentathlon for Perthshire making him the first Pentathlon athlete for Perthshire.

Rummor is that Mikela Kibochek

Over all Perthshire will be sending a total of 201 athletes to Leah almost .5% of the population will be competing in the games.
