qhiro 2010 | petrova after the games

The Kingdom of Petrova has tremendously changed after hosting the August Simlympic Games. While this is the last event that the country will be hosting and participating in the simcity world, these games were memorable. The country has had a 130% increase in tourism in the past two months and is expected to have a 200% increase in the coming months. Venues that were used in the games will continue to be used for events for Petrova, Dardajhan Republic, Russia and other Eastern European countries.

Azovo
The southern harbor town that staged several outdoor events returned to being a quite and peaceful town oncemore. Azovo has provided a unique mysterious and enchanting forest environment for the simlympics. The town has hosted the mountain biking, sailing, archery and equestrian events.




Chihiro
The Petrovar capital will never be the same after the simlympic games. The capital has received a huge economic and tourism growth which tremendously helped the city. The Quantico Airport, built to accomodate international flights to and from the capital during the games, will now be taking domestic flights from cities all over the country. The Olympic Complex will be less crowded, but will be heavily used in the country's national tournaments.


Ordona
Ordona has provided an unprecendented environment to the simlympics: a beach paradise. The Chihiro Games committee planned to turn the park into a beach, however after the games, the Petrovar Government has decided to keep the park. The Petrova Simlympic Park in Ordona will be undergoing construction. The simlympic park will be turned into a Sports Theme Park Complex, and some venues will be removed or modified for the park. The Simlympic Village will be transformed into a tropical resort. The AIN Headquarters of the International Simlympic Committee is rumored to be transformed into a museum to commemorate the 2010 August Games.
