simly spectacular .... it seems to be build on an artificial island, I like the idea that the airport is connected with a tunnel to the coast

it is on an Artificial Island(well mostly)
The Airport is built on 2 Small Islands that were Filled in by Rock etc... to make 1 larger Island suitable for an airport. and yeah the tunnel runs about 10 miles under sea to Downtown Island Pointe. Island Pointe really wanted the land that was the Airport so the RVAA Saw a suitable location out at sea.
