It looks nice, but your going to need a lot more custom content to go against the people who have worked years preparing for this

I'm sorry to say this here, but i doubt your city is ready for the simlympics. I mean, there are nice spots, but i can't see much detail, it all looks plopped and not very professional, your cities look pretty empty, stadiums in the middle of nowhere.
I know, this might seem hard and not right to you what I am saying, but i think that this is not worth the work to bid for it.

I mean, i acknowledge your courage to bid for this, but this city isn't worth it. sorry

I just don't think that the city was ready. If you look at all the other cities bidding, the guys have been working for years on those cities, and you can actually SEE their effort. But this bid is - no matter how old the person is who put it up - nothing i couldn't do in a day or two.

I am sure, that it could be a better bid if you just waited a bit longer and improve your cities. they have potential, but you really see that all those big buildings in your Downtown are just plopped, there are only few residential houses, and far too many stadiums for such a small city.

I would strongly encourage you (simcityguy78) to improve your cities, to add detail, to let those cities grow. If you put more time and effort into your city and bid, it could become a good one, but i'm afraid not for these games.

nonetheless, i admire you for putting up that work to actually BID for it. (more than i did so far! haha - well, i bid for the ISC Sessions, but not the games).

I personally liked the bid. The pictures might need improvement, but the information and captions were great. I wish the owner of the city luck.

On another note, the city definitely has potential to become one of the Simlympics "greats" like New Chandler and Shushtrepistaz. I mean, this is how pretty much everyone begins in SC4.

simcityguy, dont be too hard on urself. everybody started out the same as you did but over time you will improve ur City skills. i did! its just a matter of time
