Are you bidding for the Simlympics or for an ISC session?

Sure.

The ISC session is an event that decided the host of the Simlympics. The Simlympics, obviously, is the sporting event featured. Both require a good deal of work, the Simlympics more so, so the ISC session is recommended for beginners by most people here.

This forum where we are right now is for the ISC session bidding which ends on December 31. This forum (<link) is for the Simlympic bidding which ends on January 6. Now when you bid for the Simlympics, the crew here wants you to have two separate topics, one where only your bid is, and one just for people's comments. For ISC sessions they both share that thread.

Does that help any?

Actually reading the 'Information for Bidders' threads at the top of the forum wouldn't go amiss too. That is what they're there for, after all.
