Day 2: Shot Put and Judo

Today's events take us first to the main stadium, named Jean Le Conte Simlympic Stadium:

Here, the Lower Columbian athletes edged out their competitors from New London to claim another gold medal, this time in shot put. Aosta claimed the bronze.






Today's other event, judo, took place later in the day at one of the Simlympic park's four indoor arenas, namely the S. H. Pangler Arena:

The heavily-favored martial artists of Manchester showed the Sim World why they're the top dogs by winning their city's second gold medal. The fighters of Newport, meanwhile, had to settle for silver, having defeated bronze-medalist city New London.
