Exams

Just posting this to wonder who is going through any exams at the moment or in the near future, and for what.


myself, i am quite, quite nervous as I am sitting the SAT tomorrow....argh

I'm currently in my 3 weeks mid-years exam period and screwed up my history and elementary maths paper so far.

Expecting to screw up about 2 more though. I'm taking a total of 6 subjects (english, elementary maths, additional maths, combined sciences, social studies + history, geography).

I have exams coming up in 5 weeks, but I have one coming up in 2 weeks for music. I have Communications, Chemistry, Discreet math, and American Music History finals 5 weeks from now. As for the SAT's don't sweat it there a piece of cake.

In 5 weeks (?) I have my LAST EVER and MOST IMPORTANT exams of all time, in English, Maths, Irish, French, Geography, History and Chemistry Most concerned about chemistry...it's so incredibly boring I just cannot bring myself to study

I have 4 in 2 weeks.

English, Maths, Statistics and Business Studies.

Fun, fun, fun .

I have an AP American Test next friday so from monday through friday, I'll just be checking in, but most likely won't be able to post(unless its urgent). I'm kinda worried about the dang FRQ's (free response questions) cuz i tend to forget supporting details

And in early June I have English, Algebra II, Art, French and Chemistry Finals.....ahhhhhhh!!!!!

Hate Exams
Personally, I am doing exams in two weeks. More importantly I am studying for my GCSEs in Maths, English, Science (x2), Spanish, Tech, Geography and ICT which I take next June...

Damn. My GCSE O Level is during October this year (5 months more). And I haven't even begun preparing for it!

Anyway, why is there a need for exams anyway other than to get higher pay or job promotion?

I have my GRE Exam coming up...I'm soo nervous.

Had my last exam today .

Seems I have a bit of catching up to do here , apologies for my absence.

Yesterday was my last ever proper day of school. My Leaving Cert exams start on June 3rd in seven subjects:

Maths
English
History
Geography
French
Chemistry

My exams start in a week... I'm in the IB and all my classes are in English:

Math Standard Level
Physics Standard Level
Greek A1 Stardard Level
English A2 Higher Level
History Higher Level
Visual Arts Higher Level (not examined)

just had my Physics Unit 3 exam
the GAT - General Achievement Test, totally pointless
8 min English oral on Richard III

But on the GAT, it is just in Victoria for the VCE. But there has been an emergence thanks to Facebook of a plan for as many people as possible to mention George Clooney in one of their two essays. I've done all my exams except for Chemistry, which isn't until Tuesday. Unfortunately, thats also my worst subject I guess now I can just sit back and pray I get my first choice college course

Getting nervous now, my exam results are out on Wednesday and I'm really not sure how I did... just focus on planning what I'll be doing Wednesday night

My exams begins on August 14, Friday.

Semester 1
Term 1: Jan 2 to Mar 13
March School holidays: Mar 14 to Mar 22
Term 2: Mar 23 to May 29
June School Holidays: May 30 to Jun 28

Semester 2
Term 3: Jun 29 to Sep 4
September School Holiday: Sep 5 to Sep 13
Term 4: Sep 14 to Nov 20
December school holiday: Nov 21 to Dec 31

So, it's basically every month except june and december. No summer holidays, no winter holidays. I'm from Singapore and there's no seasons. Just wet and dry seasons.

This year, my exams are Mid-Year Exams (Apr and May), Prelims (Aug and Sep) and GCE O-Levels (Oct and Nov).

Its an interesting system... think I actually like the idea of more shorter breaks instead of one huge one

Well I got my exam results, and I did ok...considering I barely studied. I got 320 points (max you can get is 600, highest in my school this year was 495)
