torch relay | day eight | new chandler

[PAULO] Thank you for joining us on New Chandler News Channel 2's coverage of the Torch Relay and Block Party. I am Paulo Serrano.
[ANITA] And I am Anita Calatrava.

[PAULO] It appears the Simlympic flame has been took off the flame, and is being ran into the tunnel under the Transcendenta Airport!
[ANITA] A few people have came out to Transcendenta Circle to watch the torch pass as well, Paulo!


[ANITA] The torch is now snaking through Parque Morada in Roseburgh!
[PAULO] Lots of people are in one certain area of the park for some odd reason, Anita...
[ANITA] Probably because the Pelham Provience Grilloff begins tomorrow and that area is reserved?
[PAULO] Oh yes, I forgot about the grilloff!


[PAULO] Crowds gather now at Diagonal Avenue and Parque De La Brea!
[ANITA] The torch is being carried by the New Chandler National Football Team's goalie and team captain, Cale Holmes!
[PAULO] Lets hope New Chandler can bring home gold in football in these games, Anita.
[ANITA] Wouldn't that be amazing?


[PAULO] Now the torch is being carried through Southeastern La Brea.
[ANITA] Are you sure? There is so many people, I can't hardly see it!
[PAULO] (laughs) you got that right!


[ANITA] The torch is now being carried by Todd Moloney, a popular baseball player in New Chandler, down Aquamarine Avenue, en route to the CityDome.
[PAULO] And once again, you can hardly tell it's down there.
[ANITA] This would be a good day to ride the Metro, you could be able to see it for about five seconds.
[PAULO] I bet the people looking down from the apartments are glad they aren't down there!
[ANITA] No kidding.


[PAULO] Todd Moloney is now carrying the torch inside the CityDome and giving it to Carlos Cruz, Vice President of the Republic of New Chandler.
[ANITA] Too bad Kyle Johansen, the President, isn't here, to see the relay and the block party.
[PAULO] He is already in Chihiro, Anita, I am sure he is having a good time!
[PAULO] Now, we will wait for everyone to pile in from outside to watch Mr. Cruz give his speech.


[ANITA] What a wonderful speech. He is a great speaker, isn't he, Paulo?
[PAULO] Yes he is.
[ANITA] Now, it's time for one of the most highly anticipated events of the night, the New Chandler Bi-Annual Block Party!
[PAULO] The torch is going to make one final appearance at the Block Party, before it is drove quietly back to Transcendenta, and transported to Chihiro.
[ANITA] We are less than three minutes away, Paulo!


[PAULO] The crowd is counting down now! Five, four, three, two, one...
[ANITA] Woah! Look at the laser show!
[PAULO] Wow! What a way to get this party started!


[PAULO] Now fireworks are lighting up International Park!


[ANITA] Now, taking up the top deck of the International Arena, is our first band of the night!
[PAULO] Did you hear that the stage brought in had malfunctioning wiring?
[ANITA] Yes I did, fortunately, the arena is right where the stage would have been!

Thank you for putting a great end to the relay k50! Chihiro is looking forward to the torch! The torch should arrive in Azovo, S. Petrova tomorrow morning, then it will be touring the country until it reaches the capital in the afternoon
