Re: Rorysville-One City,One Goal
So what makes the Rorysville Bid so special?
Every year July 1rst through the 8th is a National Holiday Week
With St. Gaz Day on July 7th celebrating the Start of the Struggle for Freedom. The Week also sees the largest Concert Festival in teh Country called Summerslam.
2009 Summerslam Headliners
July1
The Smashing Pumpkins
July2
Our Lady Peace
Stone Temple Pilots
July3
Buckcherry
Kiss
July4
Rage Against the Machine
July5
The Prodigy
July6
Green Day
All days also include shows from local bands and have music from 1pm till 11pm.
there will also be firework displays everynight at a different location leading up to the July 7th festivities
July 1-Harbourfront Village
July 2-Ft.RV/Rivard Park
July 3-National Concert Grounds
July 4-Ayre District

July 6-Bayside District
July 7-Capital Park(National Fireworks Display)
And around this will also include the National Airshow at RV Air Base,National Water races(Hydroplane races on the riverfront),as well as countless other festivities.
With all this a Summer Simlympic Games would make this an Event to remember.
other reasons the Simlymics Belong in RVC.The City is the Cultural centre of the Nation as well as a sportsmen's paridise.
