Suggestion - Medal Table Design
I have a suggestion. As a "committed" Medal Table "designer", how about adding the Preferred Medal Table Design into the bidding info? The bidding nation will then have a choice to choose their preferred Medal Table design (e.g. Fire theme Medal Table for Tourist City Simlympics).
Re: Suggestion - Medal Table Design
Every Simlympics will always have its own color theme (e.g. Fire theme for Tourist City Simlympics). However, the Medal Table always have the same color throughout every Simlympics, occasionally just plain white, and it could bore the forum readers.
In addition, the bidders sometimes wish they could design their own medal tables but just couldn't either find the time or doesn't have enough resources.
Therefore, to cope with this problem (if have), maybe the bidders could proposed how they wish the Medal Table could look like and the Medal Table Designer (most likely me) will then design the Medal Table, along with updating the medals.
This maybe not required as it is purely for "eye-candy" purposes. t doesn't affect the bid, nor the ISC decision of the host city.

I don't see the Shalman Commonwealth on the top of that medal table
xD Nice, I love it!

Oh this will be the medal table that will be used from the 10th Simlympiad onwards?
If so, then I think I don't wish to update the medal table due to the complexity of the medal table code layout. so, I guess slacker got his job back.

Good idea Aranho, but as Joe said. We now have an automatic medal table based off the same design as the results .
The ISC is now able to do the results table again, thank you for the help with it in the last few games Aranho. Very much appreciated.

Re: Suggestion - Medal Table Design
I have an idea. what if we keep joe's simlympic score thingys, but change the color theme every simlympic, cuz the blue theme will be worn out by the end of the year. a compromise between aran & joe's ideas

Sure, but someone else can do the 100+ images you'd need.

Hah, I think we'd be able to set up a macro to do it for us. I personally like the blue, but I think it could potentially be something to consider in the future.
