Your nations most popular/best sport...
Which sport does your country expect (or is expected) to do best at during the Simlympics?
Remember, with PAS you can now have a say in which events you're most likely to do well in during the Simlympics .

Tenshi......
Football, Sailing, and long distance track events. Tenshi doesnt even have any baseball players. Cricket is found to be way more popular in the smaller villages then in the big metro cities, as the villages are what tend to produce the majority of Cricket players for Tenshi.

Ainkien's Best Sports
Ainkien is big on Olympic sports, but here is the low down:
Strengths: Archery, Fencing, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Tennis, Short Track Speed Skating, Figure Skating, Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, Cross Country Skiing, Rowing, boccia, Lacrosse
Average: Athletics, Swimming, Volleyball, Rugby, Gymnastics, Football (Soccer), Bobsled, Long Track Speed Skating, Diving, Equestrian, Martial Arts, Triathlon, wrestling, synchronised swimming, canoe, wheelchair athletics, table tennis, goalball
Not great, but we compete: Handball, Basketball, Alpine Skiing, Sailing, Cricket, Water Polo, Golf, Shooting, Boxing, weightlifting, American Football
For some reason, these sports just aren't popular in Ainkien: Baseball, Softball, motorsports

Re: Your nations most popular/best sport...
Since I haven’t posted a City Journal yet I will explain my Country a little bit so it could justify my Country’s strength’s and weaknesses.
Windsor is a Island Nation 800 km away from Nova Scotia (Canada). Windsor has vast and interesting history (Which will be explained in the City Journal) but in short is a Island that was given to Hessian and British compatriots who did not want to go back to Europe or reside in the USA. Windsor can be seen as somewhat of a strange place because it has German, British and American cultures. In saying this Windsorians take part in European sports and yet also excel in American Sports.
So now here is Windsor’s strength’s and weaknesses when it comes to sports..
Competitively Strong: Long Distance Athletics (5000m, Marathon) Field (Long Jump, Triple Jump), Football (European), American Football, Shooting, Triathlon, Fencing, Water Polo, Goal Ball.
Competitively Okay: Athletics (100m, hurdles), Field (High Jump, Pole Vault), Baseball, Golf, Judo. Mountain Biking, Equestrian, Modern Pentathlon, Tennis, Boxing, Archery, Swimming, Diving, Rowing, Sailing, Canoeing, Polo, Wheel Chair Athletics, Ice Hockey, Motor Racing
Not great but still compete: Shot put, Hammer throw, Javelin, Discus, Hockey, Indoor Cycling, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, Basketball, Cricket, Boccia.
Not popular in Windsor, yet still send a team: Volleyball, Lacrosse, Karate, Taekwondo, Gymnatsics, Badminton, Table Tennis, Synchronized Swimming.
Sports that are not being competed in: Rugby, Handball, Tug of War, Kick Boxing.

Re: Your nations most popular/best sport...
Just a reminder that this will have no effect on the results of the Simlympics and is purely for fun.
Also, due to the way we currently simulate our sports everyone will take part in all the sports. I'm working on a more advanced system which will take into account many factors, this will also play a huge part in a new event I will be launching in a couple of months.

Ambromia does not yet have a national sport (civil war), but the local sport in Westminster is tennis.

Remember guys, now that PAS is in place you can now chose which events you compete in and have a say in which events you do well in and which events you're less likely to do well in.
