The president of the organizing committee “PENTHESILI 2008” report yesterday that tenor Andrea Bocelli invited and finally will sing in the opening ceremony in the simlympic stadium. The president said that he was very satisfied because Andrea accepted the invitation and his presence will be necessary that night.

Rorysville's Athletes finally started their flights out to Penthesili from RV Int'l ,Island In'l,and Marceau Int'l Airports

West End's team have already flown out and are hard at their last minute preparations.

Word from the camp is that they have high hopes for the cycling, weightlifting, tennis and football. But as this is their first time in the Simlympics the whole team is just pleased to be there.

After a long wait the USNSE Athletes left on Tuesday for Penthesili from Logan International in Boston MA.

The problem, customs, the USNSE pass port service had a computer failure and lost precious data for the athletes, but no fear things are back up and running and the USNSE athletes rose there flag early Wensday morning USNSE time.

I love these updates. These are my first games and I didn't expect so much build-up.

Though some of Ainkien's athletes have been in Penthesili for several weeks, most flew out on a chartered AirAinkien jet last weekend. It was the typical send-off with the parade, fireworks and baklava for good luck.
