Re: Tientsin-Fort Bayart possible future bid
the Tientsin NOC has unveiled the new logo for Tientsin Bid. Yesterday a huge billboards has been put in place on building that host the NOC in Fort Bayart.
Yet the place of the Simplypic games has to be decided. Jean Duval-Teng, NOC president, has told the press that during a recent meeting with Fort Bayart Mayor and Prefect Governor, the location of the Olympics wouldn"t been held on Tientsin Isle but in Lachine or Carrière Districts : first to not but more presure on the real estate market in Tientsin Isle and to have a unique chance to develop modern infrastructure in Lachine or nCarrière district.

Re: Tientsin-Fort Bayart possible future bid
The localization of the main site of the bid.
All the sites has been choosen for their easy access by cars and trains. A shuttles service will be proposed between Chai wan and the others sites.
The main site, Chai Wan, was an old factory district. Unused since the 90s with some amazing Industrial Heritage. Most of the old buildings will be reused as Broadcast center, informations pavillons and so on. An olympic stadium will be built.
Shek Pik Sport center at the border of the Bois de Luwan hosts already the Stade Tientsinois, the national rugby team, the complex will be expanded to fullfill the Simlympics Requirements.
The Saint George and Sainte Geneviève University offers its stadiums to host some minor events.
The Fukang forest will host the BMX and sailing competions.
More to come (Hostels, olympic village, proposal)

Ooo very nice map . Having four main sites all spread out throughout the area is a cool idea, it'll allow visitors to really get a feel for the nation and with the good transport facilities it sounds as if it'd work very well. Also re-using old sites sounds like a great idea, very sustainable.
Eagerly awaiting the full bid!
