Simlympic HQ Competition - Take 2
By popular demand, here's the second round of the Simlympic HQ competition.
The first round of the competition found us Headquarters for the following regions/unions:
COFR
AIN
North America
Eurasia/Africa
The winning headquarters can be found here.
We therefore need Headquarters for the other unions/regions which are currently without a Simlympic HQ:
Oceania
SCJU
IPON
AFDES
LoN
So, if you're interested simply post in this thread with the following;
City name:
Nation/Country name:
Geographical Region/Union:
Pictures of the HQ, or alternatively pictures of where the HQ would be located and the building you wish to use as the HQ. Be as creative as you like, and remember we aren't going to need 7 or 8 skyscrapers, so if some people have done one; try something different . Variety is the spice of lie after all!
Deadline is the 15th September, the ISC will then vote on which city should host the union/regional HQ and announce the results the next day.
Good luck and have fun .

City name: Haarlemstraat
Nation/Country name: Victoria
Geographical Region/Union: Oceania
The proposed Simlympic Headquarters for Oceania would be housed in the historic Royal Diamond Exchange.
King Leopold Plaza, yes it is water but that is one of the quirks of the city

City name: Passau
Nation/Country name: Imperial Atlantean Colony of Perseus
Geographical Region/Union: Atlantica-Alba and the SCJU
The Phillip Owens Building is located in the thriving Caledon Quay district, the home of the Passau corporate sector with representation from the world leaders in energy production already present. The area also hosts the Passau City Stadium, Altex Arena with abundant retail and entertainment facilities.
The building itself is of a unique and superior design. Incorporating wind turbines to take advantage of the strong winds coming off the Cytherian Strait. the building comes equipped with modern offices that take advantage of natural light, heat and ventilation. Providing a comfortable space for all those that experience the building.
At the base of the structure a new gallery and museum will house exhibitions dedicated to the history of the ISC and international sporting achievement. The building has a dedicated underground station with lines serving Passau Central Station and the wider city, national motorway and rail connections are located close by and provide quick and modern transport options. The city is also directly linked into the wider Atlantica-Alba High Speed Rail network and to the motorway linking Perseus with Royal Cytheria and Absalon and wider Atlantica-Alba

Fantastic bids, both of you .
Deadline is tomorrow. No-one want to challenge either Perseus or Victoria?

In the future make sure to see the last posting date, because posting in ancient threads isn't looked highly upon by some people.
