Great update! Yeah, that stadium is fantastic Smile.

Canuck: I think it's the New Anfield (Liverpools stadium) and I believe it's BATed by dmscopio, so you should be able to find it on his site.

Newark Updates

Came today at the end the recovery plan of Newark, missing areas were intended for residential using, the new CRT Tower, headquarters of the first Italian banking group, was built, and came out the construction of the main HSR Station of the region, the 'Newark Gate'.
The station is designed as a major hub, which will serve at full power more than 800,000 passengers a day, 4 HS lines converge here, directed to Alameda, South Bay, while the other two lines will provide a link with the south suburbs and will be useful for the infrastructure's development in areas not yet urbanized.

'7 Points Plan' update

It dates back less than 20 days ago to the approval of the development plan in seven points, the Metropolitan Council met this morning to make a revision of the plan and communicate the achievement of objectives.
At today were completed in full:
Point 7: with construction and opening to the public of the new international airport and the dismantling of other smaller airports in the region.
Point 2: the new city of Newark was completed, including the development of a new financial centre capable of offering employment to more than 50,000 people, a new football stadium, two new parks, and a new station that will become the main HSR stopover in the region
In stage of completion:
Point 1: 90% completed, the old city of Alameda was fully recovered, the former Simlympic Park has been reconfigured as an area of high-density housing and commercial in which 20,000 people reside today, the town population grew more than 400,000 inhabitants, confirming Alameda as the largest city in the region.
Point 6: Intra and Mayland are only two cities born in the northern region, today they are more than 7 beyond the city of Richmond, these cities grew out thanks to the social policies implemented by the council, need today to be reviewed under a urbanization plan that will integrated them with the whole region, are therefore configured as an area with medium and low density housing, with a high concentration of infrastructure related to the city centre.
In decision-making:
Point 3: I-ville, the project is approved, the city will rise at south of the bay to the west of Newark
Point 4: Post-ville project is a continuous source of confrontation in the council, there are those who appreciates the humanitarian intent of the project, those who criticizes the construction of the dome and intends it as a great scar into the city skyline, those who maintains that the project both futuristic and should be pursued, and those who proposes to carry out a large-technology industrial park instead of the dome. The decision of the council is not expected soon because of differences between the positions.
Point 5: the sports park is another great source of debate, a majority vote of the metropolitan council were in favour of a candidation of the city to host the next Simlympics games, the grievances of the minority, however, have blocked the application layer. The doubts concerning the plan for development of venues that prefers the hive-off in different areas instead of one central park, also the plan did not say yet where several parks were built. The inclusion of large green areas, sports facilities, infrastructure in a strongly-developed area as the Alameda one is the main problem that the council have to face.

Point3: I-Ville

The I-ville project finally entered in the implementation phase, the city imposes an innovative human-friendly concept, and achieves it in a total respect for the environment... the city is organized around a central square and 4 main streets that cross it for the long, for the private housing is required to be surrounded by a green zone for public use, the central area of the three districts will be covered by a pedestrian and bicycle path, so the entire city can be crossed in a few minutes of walking, the use of public transport with low environmental impact is encouraged (ex: subway, ecologic bus and electric trains). The aim is to create an environment compatible with humans and with a high quality of life.

The AMA City's Journal - Page 2 I_vill10
The preliminary phases of the project

The AMA City's Journal - Page 2 I_vill12
Project completed: 36.000 inhabitants, 16.000 commercial employment, 2 rayway stations, 10 subway stations, 2 HSR stations, 4km of subway lines, 1 square-kilometer of park every 100 inhabitants, 10 km of pedestrian or trails paths

Post-ville: project rejected

During today's meeting of the City Council the project Postville was rejected.
The original project included the construction of a large dome-greenhouse where would find accommodation and work the less affluent regional population. The phase of design and feasibility has not found a consensus within the council. To be implemented, the project would require the construction of a huge dome, with a diameter of 10km and a height of 300 meters, covered by more than 50 plates of glass, the cost of the work would have been more than three billion €. The city council has rejected a similar project for these reasons: timing of implementation would be very long, cost too large to the benefits, lack of so sophisticated technology to build a structure of such dimensions and impact the environment and on ' image' of the city would be too huge.
