Coincididence with the real Olympics has played much in favour of the site, but it's also about the great work of Chanuck and Slacker to advertise this site on the others sim-forum

Heh, it wasn't coincidence that the Simlympics started one day after the Olympics .

and yup cross site promotion was and is still needed for continued growth

i think we are going to set the record this month for the amount of posting. so far, 7 days in we have 400 and something posts compared to 1100 ish for august. I think we will hopefully smash the record!

Yeah, probably. Every morning (well, technically early afternoon I guess ) I come on and look at every post and I have to open about 20 tabs lol. With all the new sports, December Simlympics going on, and more members it's not really surprising .

I think we need to make an ad in Simtropolis to add even more members!! But I've been looking at the stats recently and everything but the members are really high!
