The Holidian Assembly has set aside a proposed budget of £1.5 Billion Holidian Punts (around €2.6 Billion) for the proposed Simlympic Park, related infrastructure and a new Simlympic terminal and runway extension at Rathlin International Airport.

The Simlympic Park is to be located on a part brownfield-part green field site 2 miles west of Rathlin City (in the proposed Marina Quarter). It will include:

* A new feature stadium
* A large swimming centre
* 3 indoor arenas
* A tennis centre
* 8 temporary stadiums

More details to follow over the next month along with plans and pictures
of the foundations being laid.
