Day 16 - Closing Ceremony

Paul : Good evening, ladies and gentleman. We're live from Sarnia City, at the Closing Ceremony of the XII Simlympics. I am Paul Walker.
Anne : And I am Anne White. Good evening.
Paul : Anne, what an enjoyable two weeks.
Anne : These Games were awesome !
Paul : Tongolia finished with 13 medals : 5 golds, 1 silver and 7 bronzes.
Anne : Also, AIN is first on the union medal table, with 64 golds. Wow.
Paul : We're a few minutes away from the official countdown.
Anne : Can't wait to see what they prepared for us.
Paul : Here we go !

Anne : Wow. Amazing fireworks ! I love them.
Paul : They must've costed a lot.
Anne : Perhaps.
Paul : Let's move on to the next moment, though.
Anne : All those people are forming a big circle.
Paul : It surely required a lot of training.

Anne : Ah, so far so good. I wonder what's next.
Paul : They are gathering around that tall tower in the center of the stadium.
Anne : A beautiful moment. Isn't it ?
Paul : Indded.
Anne : I really liked the idea.

Paul : The dancers are now leaving the stadium.
Anne : Another artistic moment is prepared.
Paul : Oh ! A classic Tongolian parade.
Anne : What a nice way to end the artistic part.
Paul : True, Anne. Really original.

Anne : This part of the ceremony was purely awesome. Wasn't it ?
Paul : Sure it was.
Anne : What's coming next ?
Paul : All the atheletes are now invited into the stadium.

Anne : Time for a medal award ceremony.
Paul : Mens Marathon.
Anne : The three medalists are from Lower Columbia, New Bordeaux and Arcacia.
Paul : Also, the winner set a new Simlympic Record.

Anne : Next is the closing speech of Mike Slacker.
Paul : He is now entering the stadium, in the middle of all the athletes.
Anne : The spectators give him a big round of applause.
Paul : Let's listen.

STADIUM ANNOUNCER(Tongolian) : Doamnelor şi domnilor, preşedintele Comitetului Internaţional Simlimpic, Mike Slacker.
STADIUM ANNOUNCER(English) : Ladies and gentleman, the president of the International Simlympic Comitee, Mike Slacker.

Anne : Great speech.
Paul : Indeed.
Anne : We're getting close to the end of this ceremony...
Paul : And of the XII Simlympics.
Anne : That's really sad.
Paul : Yes, Anne. I'm so sorry it has to end.
Anne : While playing the Simlympic Anthem, the Simlympic Flag will be lowered.
Paul : And the flame will be extinguished.

Anne : This puts an end to an epic adventure, the 12th Summer Simlympic Games.
Paul : It was incredible. Everything was...I just can't descriebe it.
Anne : You surely are right. Can't believe we reached the end.
Paul : We don't have to be sad, Anne. There's more Simlympics coming.
Anne : You're right.
Paul : I've heard the TSC is planning a Winter Simlympic bid.
Anne : That would be something to watch for.
Paul : Once again from Sarnia City, I'm Paul Walker.
