Re: Shushtrepistaz

Day 1 of Jumaanian Civil War Peace Talks Concluded, Special Coverage Later TodayThe day started with the transportation of the dignitaries and chiefs from their hotel to the Convention Center. The politicians and the Emperor arrived at the Das’gotn Convention Center on time. Security was tight, as riot police and security forces provided coverage for the Imperial leaders in response Prime Minister Christoph Kohl addressed the fellow leaders and the small crowd of media personnel.
"In the first session, PM Kohl and Bgoni Chief Dassavoni agreed to at least one week of cease fire. It was quite clear that the death toll in his [Chief Dassavoni's] camp had definitely played a part in the decision to call a cease fire. The Tribes have agreed to hand over weapons to Imperial forces, and subject their paramilitary wings to labor camp imprisonment, and in many cases, prison. In regards to Colonial-Tribal affairs, myself and the Bgoni Chief agreed to partition off and offer semi-autonomy to tribal lands, which will be more clearly defined in a 3-party effort later in the talks. Although this may seem generous to the men who have taken so much from the Jumaanian people, this type of resolution is pivitol in the Imperial-Colonial-Tribal relationship."

Welcome back to Shushtrepistaz
Hmn, this isnt Das'gotn
This is Dras'kon, the capital of Shushtrepistaz, the lower quarter to exact.
The city is still building up, the lower quarter is actually pretty redeveloped.
Night shots.
Welcome to Dras'kon!

--------
Note : Sorry I haven't sent any links, I have been out exploring asia (I'm actually still in Asia, but I had a internet connection and some time to play )
--------
This is also my largest update (party) 22 pictures including 2 big mosaics and a few small ones
Welcome back to Dras'kon, the East District
The area is pretty new, with some historic buildings like the post office
Some Offices are in full workload
This area is actually old, it was built on higher terrain because of the
Monsoons....
Well anyway after a while alot of the raised areas got removed.
Why? well first, it was pretty hard, (look at that school, imagine how much dirt it would take)
And these subterranean roads would have to go.
So they just built these reservoirs that took up water from the drainage system, and any overflow would be put into the canals.
A few mainline services line the main avenue in this residential area.
Most shops are mom n' pop shops out of houses.
Here is a diffrent part of the city, called Sokohan (We will get into that later )
Part of the East Quarter sticks into Sokohan as it shows.
As the reservoir ends, a on ramp begins
------------
It would be interesting living in that house
------------
I know you guys like night shots
---------------
Mosaics are always fun
--------------------
And just for fun, the new quarter in all its glory

Welcome back to Dras'kon, the port
No wait the CBD
Welcome back, here is the Hellken Condo complex located next to the identical Sea-Breeze Condo Complex
The CBD overlooks the new quarter on one side.
And an opening of a river on the other side.
At the end of the CBD is this.
Basically a parking lot at the edge of the city for tourists.
At the other edge of the CBD is this place
Its similar to the rest of the city.
Very Similar
But is home to the HSR station

Re: Shushtrepistaz
LOL, Portwall. That literally made me laugh out loud.
Forth: In the 4th, 5th, and 7th pictures from the bottom (counting the mosaic), the streets look really crowded. What did you do get those streets crowded like that (that is, if you did something)?

Welcome back to Sokohan/Dras'kon
Look a freeway -- This must be transit related
This are is nearby the grand interchange, which connects National Route 1 and National Route 2 on a half cloverleaf due to space restrictions.
As you can see a area of land is just formed to fit with the freeways.
Crowding freeway entrances lead to one sided entrances that look like this
There are shops along the avenues
And trees are used for beauty, collection of rainwater (due to flooding) and sound walls.
Nite Shots
More School = Less Pictures n' Updates
