I think the next Simlympics should coincide with the 2010 Youth Olympics in Singapore. I think its in mid august or late august.

That would be splendid! We could be watching two Olympics...one for our nations and another for the world's youth!

I don't think the Youth Olympics is being shown on TV anywhere but Singapore

I highly doubt it, the Youth games are kind of a joke, I would be highly surprised if its still around past 2012.

no the youth games are not televised on ESPN they're not on any channels here in the states

lol i love the olympics and the paralymics but the youth games...kinda skeptical. but who know? it might just turn out really big like the olympics

Yup.

ISC Session will be on the 17th of July and the next Simlympics will take place in mid-August. We decided to stagger out the switch rather than do it all in one go .

Thanks Slacker! My CJ will be out by then too, that is one free post for me What about the future Simlympics? Is November still a go, or will staggering the Simlympics bump it too far back into the winter time (I can still pull a summer off in December, the tropics in December are nice )

The schedule for future Simlympiads is still a WIP and will be revealed here when it's finalized. As with BAT and mod teams: it'll be ready when it's ready

I hope for some winter games in December
