You can sign up for most sports in their off-season. Simlympics isn't the only thing. I suggest you start with some soccer (AIFF), which has year-round signups, tournaments and friendlies.

I am sad tho i wish i knew about this years ago when i first started playing. sim city's official website is BOOOOO like im sorry... my game is not registered and i cant do anything with them directly. and learn and explore and find awesome sites like this. like with simtropolis i cant get help worth ..... ya know.... i found u guys by a post. thanks for being here !!! makes the game fun and my city looks more awesome with stadiums and im downloading more lol.

And you can even sign up for the SIBF, an International Baseball League thats like the AIFF, but its baseball, in fact, the 2010 World Cup starts today!
