yeah... I understand your point Joe but 171 is a bit excessive I think. A bi-annual cleaning would be a good idea but not a concentration to 29 forums from 200...

A lot of it is coming out of the simlympic archives. We've done 17 games, which have on average 4 pretty unnecessary subforums, plus bids plus ISC sessions.

The idea is to do it once, and then keep a lid on it so we don't have to do it again, hopefully ever.

I hope this is not saying you are going to delete the content of said subforums in the archive, it is important to hold on to the history of the games and deleting it would be a sad mistake

everything will be merged into one or 2 to keep all info. No threads will be deleted in the cleanup

Things will begin happening this weekend, so please make sure you have everything sorted by then!

A few hints for organising threads in one forum:
- Use stickies for really important stuff, so they always appear at the top of the forum list. If you can't figure out how to stick a thread, let me know and I can do it.
- Use prefixes on thread names so you can tell what it relates to at a glance, eg "[SLB11] All-Star Game", or "[World Cup] Sign-Ups"

And you can also get rid of the swscra, I'm gonna focus on my CJ, most of my members were usnw and they're gonna end up in my domestic leagues which i'll more sporadically update. As for your teams wacky, sorry is about all I can say. (unless you want them in there too but now I'm doing an Aussie/Brit CJ and its all road course) Also Joe, you'll be happy to know i'm basing my motorsports for my new CJ off of V8 Supercars Smile
