The Road to New Chandler - Qualifying Tournaments

Welcome to the Qualifying Tournaments, the prelude to the XV Simlympic Games!

Qualifying Tournaments are held to prune the number of competitors in certain events for which there is a limit on the number of competitors in the games proper (normally team sports). The Tournaments are held in the two weeks prior the the games Opening Ceremony, and are like having all the preliminary rounds early.

The Tournaments are not hosted by the main games host, but rather are held in other countries of the sim-world. Current ISC policy is to offer the tournaments first to unsuccessful Simlympics bidders. Tournament hosts are expected to supply venue pictures and associated information, and to be available for a two- or three-day period in late September to post the results, similar to how its done during the Simlympics.

For the summer games, there are 16 qualifying tournaments to be held, in the following sports:

Please post here to register your application to host a tournament. There is no limit on the number of tournaments you can host, but if a lot of people apply I'll try and spread it out a bit. Other than that, first come, first served.

XV Simlympic Games - so close you can smell them

Ruteria would like to hold the Baseball or Softball games.

Linktoria would like to host Mens Rugby and Mens Football. If thats ok with you, because I know about the 2 simlympic bidders can apply first.

Grand and Belluterra would like to host the volleyball qualifiers

The King of Boyce and Kingston announced his interest in hosting the Hockey qualifiers for both men's and women's hockey.

If none of the bidders want it I'll gladly host Men's Water Polo Qualifiers.

I'll host the Mens Handball Qualifier if its open

In the country of Virginia of course
