It can be a pretty good warm up if you're thinking of hosting the Simlympics sometime; you will learn new stuff just preparing your ISC Session.

Re: Information for Bidders
Agreed. It's why I refuse to do a simlympics before I do an ISC Session (why my ISC Session bid is for the 19th and my simlympic bid will be for the 20th games )
I don't know if there are any but I would hope there were some former ISC Sessions perhaps... I think Daniel, who hosted the last session, has still got it posted on another site, that was a good session...
sure enough...

Unfortunatly, I think they aren't saved here on simsports.

Re: Information for Bidders
Yes they are. You have to go to each Simlympic though, they aren't all together anymore.

as K50 Said there are some good examples each in the Simlympics that they decided
Re: Information for Bidders
Thanks guys, I might bid for an ISC Session. One more question when I bid, do I need to post all of it at once?

Sorry for asking so many questions.. How do you make a good logo? Is there a website or what? Cause I've seen people's logo for simlympics and they are awesome!

It isn't uncommon to ask someone to make a good one for you, it's not easy

Look for this buttonmystic.destiny wrote:Could someone help me... I can't upload pictures.
Or you can use the more common approach by uploading to a host such as photobucket or imageshack

Re: Information for Bidders
@ottoh11: I guess that it's more difficult to see people bidding for Winter Simlympics because there is barely no custom content for some of the necessary venues. I've never seen on the exchanges the boblseigh tracks that canuck3360 used in the previous Games, and making ski tracks is not that easy even using PEG's custom stuff. Add the use of snow mods and such...

Re: Information for Bidders
hmmmm... I see you use photobucket... You may not be linking it properly is your issue.
The way to use photobucket is scroll over the picture, click on the forth link, it should copy, I know it will in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, not sure on firefox. Then simply paste what it copies where you want the image to show up in your post. You don't have to use the button K50 was talking about either, although that will mean you can't link it back to the actual image, which I don't so I wouldn't explain how to do that, but for an image to show up like this one, that's how you do it.

Re: Information for Bidders
The ISC Session will be held in late January.
No set date yet as we have to get the rest of the ISC's availability

I think he meant when the ISC session host is decided, which is earlier.canuck3360 wrote:The ISC Session will be held in late January.
