Port Ruppert 20th ISC Bid
On Easter Sunday Evening at 09.30pm local time, His Highness The King of the United Kingdom of Kingston and Boyce, King Otto I, The High Lord of Kingston, and his wife Queen Eva IV, Duchess of Boyce, gathered the media at the Royal Palace of Kingston to spread the following news:
The United Kingdom of Kingston and Boyce will apply to host the 20th ISC Session in Port Ruppert to determinate the host of the XVI. Simlympiad.
Following this short statement by the King, Princess Lea-Anne II. unveiled the logo for the Session.
Following the motto 'Inspiring our future', the ISC session will be held in the 22,000 seating Port Ruppert Central Exhibition Hall at the Hedfeld University. (Metro Station "Hedfeld University", six stops west of the Central Station [Metro Line T2])
Visitors can get there by plane (Port Ruppert 'Tim M. Holtkamp' International Airport OR Kingston International Airport 'Otto Shatner'), by train (CityExpress from Kingston [45mins duration], Portland, USA [1hr duration] or Vancouver, Canada [1.5hrs duration]) or by ferry (4hrs departing from Victoria, BC).
Port Ruppert is a beautiful city of 350,000 inhabitants in the north of the Kingdom's Island. Together with its neighbouring city of Ste. Hannah, both cities form the second largest agglomeration next to the Nation's capitals.
Visitors are always welcome, as they can spend their free time in the Old City of Port Ruppert or Ste. Hannah or they take a commuter train towards Henry Castle. Also, starting in mid May, there will be the 25th national Youth Hockey Championships in the city. Visitors are welcome to watch the University teams of the country battle for the Linden-Cup. As you can see, there are lots of things to do when you're not occupied with the ISC Session.
The Committee's members will all be hosted in the Marriott Belmont Castle Hotel *****, located just three bus stops away from the Hedfeld University.
The King and his Wife hope to end up hosting the 20th ISC.
However, they both wished all participating nations best of luck for the upcoming decision.

Re: Port Ruppert 20th ISC Bid
Welcome to Port Ruppert.
You'll be arriving at the International High Speed Terminal at the Port Ruppert Central Station. Once you leave the building, you just have to cross the Manchester Avenue to get to the Central Metro Terminal, from where the trains for eastern, western and southwestern suburbs depart. We take the Metro line T2 (leaving every 10 mins) towards Ste. Hannah Eastgate Station and stay on for 6 stops, that's when we arrive at the station 'Hedfeld University', the place where the ISC Session will take place.
Directly next to the station there is the University library, on the other side of the tracks, there is the Port Ruppert Central Exhibition Hall. The 22,000 seating multi-functional arena can also be used as an indoor sports field for the university sports, or as a major concert or exhibition hall.
Taking the metro further for one more stop (Belmont), we will be arriving at our hotel, the Mariott Belmont Castle Hotel (*****). You can also take the bus for three stops.
When not occupied with the Session, you can enjoy the atmosphere of Port Ruppert Old Town. For example you can visit the old Parliament Building. Its beautiful Architecture has made it known worldwide. After a slight renovation, the 'Paarlementt' has been reopened for public just a few days ago.
Also, the old National Museum is a well known building outside of the Kingdom. There you can have a look at old Dinosaurs or get an idea of the lives of the first settlers.
The Port Ruppert Metro System will be undergoing some major changes within the next few years. Upon a recently published plan, the old metro network -established in 1967- will be fully automated in within 4 years. Then, it will be the second largest automated metro network worldwide and even larger than the Kingston one which is also fully automated.
On behalf of City President Jenna Hastings-Mikolov, we will welcome any visitors also prior to the ISC session.
But please be reminded that the Port Ruppert International Airport is still in construction and not yet fully finished. The old airport has gotten too small and it needed to be replaced. The Airport is still in service, but passengers will be facing some construction works on the Terminals. But by the start of the Session, everything will be done. Don't worry.
