Qualifying Tournaments
Welcome to the Qualifying Tournaments, the prelude to the XVI Simlympic Games!
Qualifying Tournaments are held to prune the number of competitors in certain events for which there is a limit on the number of competitors in the games proper (normally team sports). The Tournaments are held prior the the games Opening Ceremony, and are like having all the preliminary rounds early.
The Tournaments are not hosted by the main games host, but rather are held in other countries of the sim-world. Current ISC policy is that unsuccessful Simlympics bidders get first rights on the tournaments, but the rest is first-come-first-served. Tournament hosts are expected to supply venue pictures and associated information, and to be available to post the results any time up to the 4th of June, similar to how its done during the Simlympics.
For the summer games, there are 16 qualifying tournaments to be held, in the following sports:
Baseball (Mens) - canuck3360
Basketball (Mens) - wacky32
Basketball (Womens) - wacky32
Football (Mens) - Simul8ter8

Re: Qualifying Tournaments
You volunteer to hold a tournament, I send you the results, you add pictures and post it. Quite simple reallyWaterclaw wrote:I might just be tired, but I'm confused about this, like how does it work and stuff
I haven't limited how many, but be sensible about it. At this stage pick two and let everyone have a chance. If they aren't all taken by Tuesday, feel free to take some more then.
JJ: Any ones in particular?

Re: Qualifying Tournaments
Is there like a waiting list.
Since I picked football and so did Liberator444.
After the bidders decide, would I get football or would Liberator444.

Maybe you guys should choose two competitions, one you prefer, one backup, then if alec or wacky chooses one then you can go with the other

Here's the link to the stadium. I had to space it out because of the 7-day rule.
