After failing to win the fifth simlympics - and a expanded hiatus due to life hitting hard.. this former ISC member will be launching a new bid with Muskoka ( after 3 years I started a new job that means not only a higher pay but more free time .. win win ! )... this will be a bit of Rio style bid (for those who don't know.. Rio 2016 is hosting ceremonies and the football final in Maracana Stadium (cap around 78K) and athletics in a different stadium with a cap of 60K. Here is the current national stadium in in Muskoka.. this is one of six national stadium's but is the largest at 95K. The entire bid will be located in Muskoka, although maybe Turion may see a bit of football and baseball action. More will leak as we near October...

Also - if you are a photoshop expert and want to help this bid.. PM me as I utterly suck at photoshop and will need massive help in the form of partner with photoshop skills.

Another picture... this time an overview of the city of Muskoka. The Simylmpic park will be located in downtown and include the Athletic's Stadium, a temporary Arena, the aquatic center and the temporary field hockey venue. Other event's will be located across Muskoka - most connected via transit. Note the simylmpic park is not yet built in this picture... it'll be revealed in the bid.

Bonus marks if you know what city used this logo ! (hint it was used by a winning bid that was massive major upset)

A few things still have to be figured out - specifically slalom events and where the Tennis center will be built.. but this will be an epic bid even grander then my Turion December 07 bid for the 6th Simlympics.

Yes its the 1996 Atlanta Bid logo.. heres hoping for some luck from it. This bid is rather daunting.. I think it'll be released more towards the middle of the bidding session.
