just a new movie about Escambia's Civil War
Its called 1871. The year we became one country.
The reason for the ghostly images in the pic is because some places in escambia are still haunted by these soliders

one question did the civil war happen in 1871? if so one minor innacuracy there

The Soldiers pictured are actually in uniforms more common to 1910's-1930's and less with the 1870's 1870 soldiers would have worn a more wool based uniform and used a less maodern rifle they also would not have had helmets


sorry I was a history Major so my geekyness of history always comes out

well yeah the actually civil war happened from 1912-1919. But The movie starts at the birth of Escambia in 1871

Failing that, I'll take the nice curvy one in your second pic for the Ærendeburg Æscingas. It will also likely house Commissions for Cruithness and Deheubarth.

Ærendeburg means Embassy

In English, its the Æscgearding Embassy
But in Æscing its sé Ærendeburg Æscingas (literally, the Diplomatic House of the Æscings)

Mixing the two is not advised

sorry for not clarifying, i meant the blue one next to Ærendeburg Æscingas. Its not really spanish, but I remember a similar building from my trip to a spain.

The Final Pitch is about Escambia National Baseball team, who won the AIN Baseball Classic. Escambia beat Perthshire 3rd and final game of the championships. In the bottom of the 8th Escambia hit a 2 run home run to take the lead over Perthshire 2-1.. With the bases loaded in the top of the 9th is wear the story title comes from......
