New Dunstonville's Bid Thecity

Dunstonville is not only a city. Dunstonville is a region. Dunstonville is a people. After the destruction of Old Dunstonville in October, there was no hesitation. Rebuilding was in order.

Of coure not!

New Dunstonville's Bid Venues

The City of Dunstonville's plan for Olympic Park is without a doubt the most ambitious plan of any other 2006 candidate city. In an area known to many Dunstonians as Madison Grounds, The Waterfront, or Riverland West, a dream was created.

New Dunstonville's Bid MasterPlan-TheOlympicPark

Land was literaly given up at the proposal for a new Olympic park and the entire region was filled with anticipation. If Dunstonville is chosen to host the Simlympic games, every venue project in the area will break ground. Here are some of the existing venues that will be used to host the games.

New Dunstonville's Bid TheDCC

The DCC (Dunstonville Convention Center) is Dunstonville's workhorse. It is the oldest venue that will host the games. It has proven us able in the past and will house a great games in the future.

New Dunstonville's Bid Morrisbiketrail

One of the things that is unique about Dunstonville is that you have a large city with the qualities of a small town. This bike trail covers about 3 miles of lush parkland area in a city with one of the largest CBDs in SimNation.

New Dunstonville's Bid Waterfront

One of the things that the Dunstonville 2006 comitte was diligent about was making sure that just becaue an event is in a rural setting does not put it in a rural area. The Riverland West area is suitaible for almost anything. From sailing and canoeing, to archery, this area is perfect for it.

New Dunstonville's Bid PeidmontSwimmingCenter

When talks of a new swimming center came up, The Peidmont company, owners of the tallest building in Dunstonville almost instantly gave money for a new center. This center was built with the Simlymics in mind, and is placed in the Riverland west area, making it convient to many during the games.

New Dunstonville's Bid MadisonGrounds

Another venue built with the hopes of hosting a Simlympics, the Avalon Tennis Stadium, located on Madison Grounds, will be ideal for nail bitting tennis matches.

New Dunstonville's Bid Dunstonville-Dec

A venue built during the biggest upslope of Dunstonville's population in history, Hiram Park, has been home to the Major League team Dunstonville Claymores for 6 years and is very suitable and ready to host the games.

New Dunstonville's Bid DavisArena

Located in one of the more undeveloped parts of town, Davis Arena was built with the hopes of being part of the future Olympic Park for Dunstonville but, the Madison Grounds/Riverland West area became more appealing to the Dunstonville 2006 comitte and the mayor.

New Dunstonville's Bid Bessemer

The oldest outdoor venue in the Dunstonville area, Bessemer Stadium has served the city of Dunstonville well and will be ready for the games.

Many more venues are being planned throughout the Dunstonville Metro area

Olympic Stadium
New Velodrome
Voleyball courts
2 new soccer stadiums
Sim Metro Life Arena
and many more.
