Regional Bids?

I have a question!
Can there be a dual city or metro-area bid?
{Ankara isn't capable of having an entire Simlympic Complex; I want to do a Mineta (surrounding area) bid, but I want to check first}

yup Laval was more so a regional Bid than it was a City
and in a way so is York
Regional bid's are actually very realistic,and done rightly they can be amazing.
for Laval it was the Lakeshore Region of Marceau that was hosting the games had they won the bid
and for York it's the entire Yorkshire Region involved!
