Winter Simlympics Day 1 (Opening Ceremony)

(Scott):Welcome to SBN's broadcast of the first Winter Simlympic Games from York in Rorysville,We have a program in store for you that will bring you the nation of Rorysville at it's best wouldn't you say so Liz
(Liz):absoulutly Scott I'm really looking forward to the suprises that we're in store for tonight.
(Scott):I know the roof was closed last night for the opening rehersals I tried as hard as I could to hear the musical acts set to perform tonight
(Liz):well here we go we take you live to the Simlympic Stadium in the Heart of York

(Liz):Well we all know there's on emore nation in the Americas but they'll have to wait till the end







































(Scott):you know Rorysville is building a rivalry in sports with Novland here it'll be an intresting matchup



(Liz):It'll be intresting to see how the Crowd welcomes the Scandia Union with Rorysville having left it recently
(Scott):You know I think they'll welcome them in with open arms










(Liz):And now the Host Nation willl enter and this stadium will rock all the way to the rafters

(SA): And now The President of the International Simlympic Comitee Mike Slacker!
(Mike):Hello York,

It's great to be here today at the opening ceremony of the first ever Winter Simlympic games! After months upon months of constant nagging, mainly from the Rorysville delegation(LOUD CHEER), a Winter games is finally upon us.
But that isn't the only first you'll be seeing in this city over the next week. We're also very proud to unveil the new interface for presenting the results and the medals. A huge thank you goes out to Joe90 for all the time he put into creating these; from the initial conception all the way up to creating the 100+ images needed for the games. The fancy new graphics also reveal a ridiculously deep set of results, a first for the Simlympics. Before we just used to post the medal winners, but now we're going the whole 9 yds. You'll see the results of quarter finals, semis and all the way up to finals. You'll see races with 42 competitors, with each of their positions ranked. But that's not all, we're also for the first time providing you all with times and scores to make the Simlympic experience more realistic and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

A lot of hard work went into these games, not just in the form of preparing York and all of Rorysville for the Winter Simlympics but for constructing the foundations of the games that are about to unfold here. So for that I'd like to say thank you to Canuck. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped in any way shape or form with the creation of the winter games, with a special thank you going out to the rest of the ISC.

I look forward to seeing the wonderful winter delights York has to offer over the next 7 days, and to what other winter delights we might see in the future.
With that said, I think there's only one thing left to do....

(John):Hello Yorkshire!

We have finally made it here to this great day,And what a journey it is a privalage to be standing here in the Heart of the Yorkshire Region welcoming the World to the First Winter Simlympic Games.We've seen York grow from an Old and sometimes forgotten city in the Nation,to the Spotlight of the nation.With many new Facilities and infrastructures built for the games the Yorkshire Region has become a World Class destination.I would like to take this oppertunity to thank All of you who have helped us from those who have built the new roads and buildings to those who have been on the ground taking tickets.I would also like to take this oppertunity to thank the International Simlympic Comitee for all it's help in the building of the games.We took great strides to brin Rorysville's passion to realization and a fitting tribute has been the selction of Rorysville to host the first ever Winter Games.I am truely humbled and honoured by this.With that said I would like to welcome you all for 7 days of Passion as it ignites our hearts with the Fire that burns within all of us so very deeply.......

(PM): Hello Yorkshire I call appon our athletes alll of yoy to bring us glory and make us all proud.I look for each Nation to show what makes this event so special.With that I would like to bring Rorysville's very own Brendan Cloutier to take the Oath of Athletics .
(Scott):Rorysville's Simlympic Hockey team captain to take the oath what a spectacular honour
(Cloutier):In the name of all competitors I promises that we shall compete in these games respecting and o biding by the rules which govern in the spirit of sportsmanship.
(PM): And now Jason Donalldson will you please come and take the Oath of the Judges
(Donalldson):In the name of all judges I promise that we shall officiate with complete impartiality respecting and o biding by the rules witch govern in the true spirit of sportsmanship.
(PM): Well with this I welcome you all to the Nation of Rorysville and the State of York as I now Officially Declare the Games of the First Winter Simlympiad now Open
