Raffore Islands' address about the Simlympics hosting results

Here is the Raffore Islands' Prime Minister James Wee Hsien Koh's address about Tourist City winning the rights to host the Ninth Simlympics in April 2009.

Good evening citizens of Raffore Islands.

You have just heard the results of the hosting rights for the Ninth Simlympics, and I am proud to say that our city, Tourist City, have won the rights to host the Ninth Simlympics which will take place in April this year. Right now, I can feel that all of you are very happy that our nation will be hosting the next Simlympics because, right now, my heart feels very cheerful that our Child will be the host for the Ninth Simlympics.

It has been close to sixteen years since our independence from under the Singapore's rule that, finally, our child can get to host a major international event at such high level of human activity, and this Simlympics will definately add in another chapter of the history of Raffore Islands.

With the current times of difficulty, especially in the rise of terrorism and the economic troubles, we shall not let these impactful events dampen our spirit for the Simlympics. As these 80 plus nations gather together as one family, let us enjoy ourselves as we participate in this one Game, the one Game that will strengthen our relationship between one another and hopefully forget every conflicts we have between us.

The Child, Raffore Islands, have finally achieved her dream of hosting the Simlympics, and because of this, she will thank all of us by awarding us with a wonderful Simlympics that she has promised that it will be spectacular.

So friends, the countdown of the April 2009 Simlympics has officially begun!
