Re: Perthshire (Bid)
Why should the ISC pick Perthshire for the Tenth Simlympiad?
As we enter the home stretch the final 10 days before bidding closes for this the landmark 10th simlympiad many questions remain about the several countries bidding this year. Who will host these landmark games? Will the added events be successful? I can answer that the with Perthshire the second is possible.
Since the July games became an option for Perthshire the thought of making the most realistic games possible with help from the ISC would be possible. With the ISC's help the original plan I had laid out several months ago is becoming reality, and Perthshire is poised to host the games.
A smaller green will allow for Patrons from around the world to go from venue to venue on foot. The furthest two on green stadiums are the simlympic stadium and the Tennis stadium. These two stadiums are a short 15 minute walk on foot, and if you wish to take a charter bus from the station at the north end of the green to the south end just a short 5 minutes with buses leaving every 5 minutes.
The numerous hotels just 1 or 2 blocks from the main green allow thousands of international fans the opportunity to be in the shadow of the events they wish to see.
Perthshire will offer sort of a 2 green experience in this games as the second one stretches along the entire Western side of Perthshire. This green features the stadiums for Soccer, BMX, Baseball, rowing, Indoor Volleyball, and Equestrian. The large reflecting pool of the brand new Hazo XIV monument which stands 150 feet tall paying homage to the most recent ruler of Perthshire is the center point of this massive park which will be home to all of Perthshire's government buildings after the games. Just along the green will be the simlympic village that will house a beautiful overlooking view of Hazo Park, the simlympic Green, Downtown Perthshire, Perthshire University Campus, and the Pacific ocean and Perthshire Bay. This I can guarantee will be the most stunning view of any village proposed in the games so far.
The ease of all the venues will also be an advantage to athletes and spectators; all but 3 venues are right in the city limits of Perthshire. The Sailing venue is in South Perthshire just 15 minutes away via highway 2 and Ludmellia university stadiums are just a 10 minute helicopter ride or a half hour drive across the island through the beautiful mountain regions across high way 3W. Guests and athletes will have the opportunity to see the famous battle sites of the Perthsherian unification in the Minerly pass or see the famous staging area for the Perthshirian Army as they ousted Japan in WWII. These historic sites are only a small part of Perthshire's cultural history that can be seen on your way to the events of the tenth simlympiad.
The events are all state of the art, with exception to the University stadiums, the BMX/soccer stadium and Westsiders Stadium all were built especially for the games as part of Queen Lin-Shia's urban renewal plan. Perthshire has used the foresight of Former King Hazo XIV to push through these difficult times by building up while things are cheep and providing work for the millions of Perthsherians. The Airport which was leveled only 2 months ago in the Novland Perthshire conflict is now fully operational and photo's are coming soon. The people of Perthshire have worked as a team to rebuild there nation and make it ready for the tenth games and I assure Perthshire will be ready. It's the tenth Simlympiad games, so pick Perthshire; the Power of Ten the Power of Team!
