Timetable updated, we're really focusing on August now; so we'll add dates for April and December at a later date.

I'm guessing December is going to be the First Winter Simlympics?(say yes)

Or may a winter and summer olympic?

that may be a good Idea...but if theyre in the same country(city) I don't see me bidding on it as Rorysville as a nation is rather snowbound in December.That and I'm a Winter Olympics Junkie probally one of my favorite times I watch every sport in the winter in Summer not so much besides Womens Beach Volleyball I can't think of any sports that I watched in Athens( I know I watch a few just can't recall what)

I'd love to do a Winter Simlympics, and Kitsune's idea is great too. However, until there are the required BATs it just ain't gonna happen .

Actually Slacker looking at it the BAT's needed for sking aren't really required all you need is a decently terraformed hill,and the venues are there for Hockey,Speed Skating,Figure Skating the cross country Sking all you really need is a path shown maybe this Summer with a break from the STHL comming up I can take some pics and show you what's instore. If not then I guess I'm not going to be able to bid for a long time.

I really hope to see a winter simlympics some day, but it looks like we may have to wait for XL...

Well, there's still over a month until bidding closes and we haven't even announced the resurrection of the Simlympics anywhere. Plus, although we may not have that many bids, the bids we have are great .

But yeah, you do make a good point. I'm not sure how many people, excluding Canuck or PD , would bid for the Winter Simlympics.

The Novland city of Austur has expressed interest in hosting a winter Simlympics if the winter Simlympics ever become reality.

I think the idea of a winter games is great. I'd love to be a bidding city for either summer or winter at some point, but I think I only have one candidate that would fit for a winter games and I don't have a "snow mod".

I'd love to see a Winter games too, hopefully sometime soon .
