Torch Relay - Day 9 - Hypertrophy

We begin the day with the arrival of the Simlympic Torch Relay at Hypertrophy-Meriwether International Airport, as they are greeted by officials in the Hypertrophy Kingdom. They are escorted from the airport to the Hyapatia Hotel to prepare for a long day.



By 6:15AM they are on the Highway to Downtown Hypertrophy. The Royal Police Escorts them via gov't vehicle to Sempiternal Battery Park.



It takes an hour and fifteen minutes to clear the traffic from Sempiternal Battery Park to Cliveles Park. Once Hypertrophy PD has cleared the way, the Torch Relay Begins one minute early.



Meanwhile on Bank Street, The Hypertrophy Stock Exchange rings the Opening Bell to begin trading.



Everything goes smoothly for the Torch Relay as the crowd cheers them on. The go past Delegate Hall as the Representatives of Hypertrophy Kingdom join the cheering crowd.



The Torch Relay continues past the Grand Parliament Building



Home to the Empress of Hypertrophy Kingdom, Empress Elina watches the Torch Relay past her palace.



The Torch Relay makes their way to Market Square, one of the most busiest locations of Hypertrophy.

Where the Torch Relay ends at Cliveles Park, the crowd cheers.



By 12 Noon Representatives of the Simlympic Torch Relay have lunch with Mayor Jim Penrod of Hypertrophy at City Hall.



By nightfall, Empress Elina delivers a speech in response to the Torch Relay, at a private dinner party filled with dignitaries, politicians, ambassadors and members of the Simlympic Committee.




The night finally comes to an end with a 3 concert series at the Hyacinth Center.
