Tell me what you think, or any opinions or improvement. Fire Away!
Re: Linktoria City August 2010- Comments
I think you should lower the quality of the images, because they are taking a very long time to load, in fact, I can only see about two thirds of them.

Imageshack is not the problem - the size of your images is.

Re: Linktoria City August 2010- Comments
oh so if i make them smaller the quality is better? i can fix that.
Re: Linktoria City August 2010- Comments
Its not so much the quality, its that they are 1MB each, which when you've got a few of them takes quite a while to load.

If you shrink them to 800x600 and save them as JPEGs, they should end up being between 100-300KB, a dramatic improvement over 1MB. The GIMP (a free image-editing program available online, in case you didn't know) can resize images and save them as JPEGs while keeping them looking good, comparable to what Photoshop can do.
In addition, if you want your pictures not to have that text in the top-left corner (which is just the help text for the SC4 camera), left-click once to actually take a picture without having to press the Print Screen (PrtScr) button. It'll be saved as a PNG and be located in your SimCity 4\Albums folder (in the same location as your main Plugins folder). All you'll have to do is open it in the GIMP and do as I've recommended above.

Thanks for changing the pics out. However, there is still wasteland, and I can't tell you how terribly that will hurt your chances. Put some filler trees in at the absolute least, or develop it! :)

If your city looks a lot better you should have waited to post your bid until you could have posted newer pics.

Yeah, youre right lemme find my SC4 game and maybe get pics by the weekend and finish off the bid.
Re: Linktoria City August 2010- Comments
I'm going to be honest, I don't think you are ready to host a Simlympics. Your city skills still need a lot of improvement. I think an ISC session would be much more viable for you.
