LAVAL 2010-XIII Candidate City-Bid- The Final Bid

LAVAL will host the Sports of the Simlympic games throughout the Lakeshore Region with venues in the towns of. Laval,Ste. Etiene,Ste. Sauvier, Lacroix County, and Gaspe. Making this not a city Event but a Regional Event. The Lakeshore Region is interconnected by the Laval/Lakeshore Transit System.
LAVAL sera l'hôte du sport de la Simlympic jeux tout au long du lac rive région avec les lieux dans les villes de. Laval, Ste. Etiene, Ste. Sauvier, Comté de Lacroix et Gaspé. Ce qui rend pas une ville de l'événement, mais un événement régional. La rive du lac région est interconnectée par le système de transport de Laval/Lakeshore.

Getting to Laval is Easy. Laval and the Lakeshore Region is Serviced by Laval Metropolitan Airport. Flights from all over Rorysville and for the games the world fly into Laval Metro. The airport is connected to the region via the Lakeshore and Dorval Metro Systems. Aside from Air Laval is also connected by Train with the MARC(Marceau Area Rail Corridor), VIA Rail RV, GO Train and Amtrak all connecting to Cities all over Rorysville and the world. Ferry Services also connect Laval to Lakeshore Destinations.

The History of Laval is Rich.
Founded in 1790 Laval quickly grew into a Trade hub with it's access to the lake and rivers. The former french colony of Marceau and it's capital Laval grew into it's own through revolutions and wars for territorial rights. Laval it's self has been sieged ,burned and bombed multiple times.In 2008 Laval launched it's self onto the international stage by bidding for the August Simlympics. Losing by the narrowest of margins to Penthesili. Laval has become a tourist destination for those who feel in love with the city after the bid. The State of Marceau fell to a terrorist attack and lost it's leader in July of 2009. The city was already starting on construction of a new monument to mark Marceau's Freedoms and History. The Statue was dedicated this Memorial Day and the Island was named after Jean Lourouchelle who was assasinated in the Terrorist attack. Laval's Bid for the XIII Simlympiad will again focus the World onto Marceau's not so hidden Gem.
