Raffore Islands pull out from Ylmeria December Simlympics

The Republic of Raffore Islands have announce that it will pull out from the Ylmeria December Simlympics (YDS) due to several reasons:

1) The Shalman Empire is threat to Raffore Islands
2) The Shalman Empire has close down its embassy on Raffore Islands due to political reasons (the Shalman Empire was blacklisted by Raffore Islands before the closure of the embassy)
3) The Shalman Empire does not support human rights
4) The Shalman Empire refuse to reopen its border to all nations galaxywide, it will only allow athletics from other nations to enter during the YDS, not tourist
5) The Shalman Empire has insulted Raffore Islands
6) The Shalman Empire has refuse to negotiate with its fellow COFR nations about the current COFR Financial Crisis
7) The Shalman Empire refuse to allow the stranded Rafforians on their nation to return back home to Raffore Islands

Due to these, and due to the request from the Rafforian athletics, the Raffore Islands Government has decided not to attend and participate the YDS due to security reasons. Even though security will increase rapidly in Ylmeria, we will still refuse to attend and participate the YDS.

Also, we request that other nations to not attend or participate the YDS and boycott against the YDS and all Shalman products.

Slacker (or whoever is in charge of accounting who will participate in the Simlympics), please remove Raffore Islands from the list of participating nations of the YDS. Whether the points will be refunded to Raffore Islands or not, it doesn't matter. Still, Raffore Islands will participate in future Simlympic events.

We urge the Raffore Islands to rethink their action of pulling out athletes from these simlympics.
Yes, the tenisions are high between COFR nations at the moment but they shouldn't get in the way of a great, fair and netrual competition like the simlympics.

The Diesmaran Empire does not wish for the Raffore Islands to withdraw from the Simlympics.

The main issue of concern is the safety of the athletes as current political relations between the Shalman Empire and member nations of the COFR have grown rather cold.

Is there any way to assure the safety of the athletes from possible Shalman 'threats'?

We hope the Rafforians re-consider their decision and maintain their participation in the Simlympics.

Okay. Right now, the Raffore Government have decided that we may send our athletics to the Simlympics BUT only in limited numbers as some of our athletics have decided not to travel to Ylmeria.

For security, we recommend that the participating nations (other than the Shalman Empire), to send in their own security teams (police, military, etc.) to safeguard the lifes of the athletics. However, to avoid a war, make sure that the members of the security teams do not exceed the number of athletics participating. The Shalman Empire may or will give out further details about this.

So do not remove Raffore Islands from the list yet. I will give further updates as the Simlympics draws closer.

You better re-think if you think we will allow security forces of another nation to even enter our part of Space, Raffore Islands. You may enter the Hiigaran, Gaian, Ezran or International sectors, but don't even think of entering ours (Andromeda sector).

Also, we had agreed on a simlympic truce before the simlympics?

Hm, i guess you could try, but our spacefleet would most likely destroy it as it enters Which would then cause the Spacefleet Command of the COFR to intervene, and cause an inter-galactic crisis. lol

Also regarding the space race between the Raffore islands and the shalman Empire, we own 1543 active spaceships, as stated on the COFR forums. You only own 150 at the moment. Our fleet is at least ten times bigger than yours. You wouldnt want to violate our national airspace!

Okay, Shalman Empire. No security forces then. But can AT LEAST neutral spaceships enter your sector? Most of the participating nation don't have space technology and Rasa is sponsoring the spaceships for travel purposes only. I'm sure you're aware of it.

And we definately won't violate your airspace. We didn't have your permission in the first place.

No, the Ministry of Military Affairs does not with any foreign forces to enter the sector, unless they belong to the Confederal Peacekeeping Forces of the COFR.

Then how will the athletics enter your sector? The Simlympics is just in a few hours time and none of the athletics (except for the Shalman of course) have reached Ylmeria! They are waiting just outside your border! Massive confusions I tell you.

How about this: just allow all the ships to enter UNDER TIGHT SHALMAN MILITARY SURVELIANCE, allow these ships to land on Ylmeria, allow the athletics to get off the ships and all the ships will then leave your airspace UNDER TIGHT SHALMAN MILITARY SURVELIANCE. We promise you that none of the ships have any weapons onboard or have any bombs. We have double checked it at our home planets to make sure.

And NO WAR, PLEASE! I hate war, especially what happen in WWII.

I thought I was agreed on the COFR forums that netrual private secirity companies would be permitted within the country as long as the employees backgrounds are checked by the shalman authorites.

I also thought it was agreed that the Ri would be entering in most sports but I suppose since you filled in the PAS it is too late.
