Terrorist Attacks on Raffore Islands

News Reporter (Ashley): This just it. The Tourist City International Airport, or Tocia Airport, has been hit by a series of terrorist attacks from an unknown source just a few minutes ago. You are now watching the live footage from our helicopter with our reporter Jason Yorkshire live at the scene. Jason, can you please describe to us about the current situation at Tocia Airport.

Jason: Ashley, the situation here is very critical. I mean, look at this destruction. Thousands of locals and tourists are pouring out of the airport for evacuation. Fire are seen at every part of the airport.



Jason: What you are seeing now is two stacks of fires blowing out from the Main Terminal.



Jason: Let me zoom in at the Airport Subway Station.



Jason: Even an Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 airplane has not been spared.



Jason: This is the Singapore Terminal main entrance.

Jason: I have also been told that all flights out of Tocia Airport, whether it's for passenger or for cargo, have been cancelled. All planes flying towards Raffore Islands have been forced to either turn back or land at the nearest airport to their location.

Ashley: So Jason, any report of any casualties?

Jason: So far, we do not have any confirmed number of casualties. All we can confirm is that people will be hurt by the bomb blast.

10 minutes after the bomb blast at Tocia Airport, the Rafforian Government have declared a countrywide State of Emergency. All transportations leaving Raffore Islands must turn back. All transportations entering Raffore Islands are not allowed to enter is boundary. The Raffore Stock Exchange have been halted. All educational institution will halt their schedules and the students must return home.

International responses are welcome.

Hours after the terrorist attack, fires have been totally put out. How ever, the death toll and injury toll kept on rising. Here are the figures:

According to witnesses, once the bomb has exploded, some sharp thing flew away from the bom to the surroundings. On top of that, none of the bombs looks big and bulky according to witnesses, meaning that the bomb could be as small as a mobile phone.

After the terrorist attacks, the Rafforian Government think that the JI could be responsible for this, but the Government didn't rule out the Fornax Empire.

The Novland Government Condemns the attacks and has said that any attack on a Novland ally is an attack on its self.

About 2 hours after the airport terrorist attack, another series of bomb blast happened in the COFR Section of the Embassy Strip.



The cause of the bomb blast happened inside the building as no car bomb has been spotted. It is unknown what is the casualty count.

There are also rumours that a Simlympics nation team that were supposed to leave today have been missing. The Simlympics team is from West Borneo. The West Bornian Simlympics Team is no where to be seen on Raffore Islands.

The Shalman Provisional Government stated earlier today:

Aurora condemns these cowardice terrorist attacks.

The ISC also condemns these attacks and views them as an attack on the hope and inspiration that is sport. The ISC fears for the safety of the athletes from West Borneo and sincerely hopes for their safe return. This attack raises serious questions about the security of the Simlympics and raises the importance of security for future games.

Auvergne (COFR), Hypertrophy (COFR), Novland (COFR), Aurora, New Zealand, India, South Korea and Japan have all condemn the attacks.

It has been reported that thw West Borneo Simlympics Team has arrived safely on West Borneo just an hour ago as the West Borneo Team took a ferry ride home. No other Simlympics teams were reported hurt.

In response to Fornax Empire, the Raffore Islands Government have vow not to join into the side which "cause unneccessary and mass harm to innocent civilians".

At around midday on April 26 2009, two major hospitals have been the latest targets of the recent terrorist attacks.

These two hospitals happens to be treating the injured people from the previous two terrorist attacks. Due to the pack-ness of the hospital, the death toll is expected to be around 3000.

The some of the Citizens of Raffore Islands are now mass gathering just outside the Parliament House at Raffore City to demonstrate the government failure of security. Prime Minister James Wee Hsien Koh have recommended that the demostrators to return home as the terrorist attacks are highly likely to happen at crowded places.

All members of the United Nations have now condemned the attacks. Raffore Islands does not want any international aides at the moment as the government is still able to cope with the situation. Despite of this, Raffore Islands requires medical aides, medical teams, medical equipments, medicines and peacekeeping forces.

Any nations wish to send their medical aides and peacekeeping forces to Raffore Islands are welcomed to do so.

Holidia strongly condemns this attack, we are withdrawing all diplomats from Raffor (except those in a serious condition).

Holidia will deploy some peacekeeping forces to RI and the Holidian Red Cross is also on their way...

All Novland citizens in Raffor Island are now being evacuated by the Novland Air force, Travel to Raffor Island is now off limits until further notice.

Imperial Spacelines has announced that it would stop all flights to and from Raffore Islands. All Shalman Citizens are to be evacuated from Raffore Islands.

Perthshire has chosen for the safety of its air force pilots to not withdraw citizens and diplomats from Raffore but has brought the diplomats and any contacted Perthsherian residents to an undisclosed non city location

Since nations worldwide are desperately calling to allow their fellow countrymen to return back safely to their respective nations (e.g. Holidia, Novland, Shalman Commonwealth, Perthshire, United States, West Borneo, Singapore, etc.), the Rafforian Government will have to give in and will send these people back to their respective homelands.

However, in order to keep peace and security, every single person must go through multiples security checks and will check through the items in the luggage by hand to check for any substances. In addition, any liquids (mineral water, shampoo, detergent, toothpaste, alcohol, etc.) or perishable items (dried foods, food cans, fruits, vegetables, meats, etc.) will not be allowed onto the plane and such items, if found, will be immediately be disposed off without any refunds.

During the lunch break on April 29 2009, multiple buildings have been bombed by home-made bombs.



Luckily, none of the building collapse. However, four key buildings in the vicinity - COFRtv Headquarters, Risbon Tower, MediaCorp Singapore Building and the Ministry of Entertainment Building - were bombed, affecting components of everyday life.

Risbon and MediaCorp Singapore are Raffore Islands two only television broadcasting network of Raffore Islands, therefore all TV programmes has been affected, with most of the TV channels unavailable to be viewed. Several radio stations have also been affected.

Likewise, COFRtv Headquarters is the main headquarter of the international TV network, COFRtv, which is only viewable by COFR members. As it was bombed, the satellite transmitter has been severely damaged, making COFRtv unable to be view by anyone at all.

The Ministry of Entertainment Building is the first governmental building that has been bombed.

After this latest attack, the government has now imposed a 12 hours curfew to every single member of the public, including tourists. The curfew will begin from 10pm to 10am. The curfew is not imposed to those people working in emergency and security venues (hospitals, army, police station, fire station, etc.) All tourist evacuating now must return back to their respective hotels to heighten security. Approved buses will now only allowed to fetch these tourist from hotels to the airport for evacuation for security and safety purposes. Food and water rations will be provided to the members of the public during the curfew. The curfew will take effect from April 30 2009 onwards unless otherwise stated.

24 terrorist suspects of the recent waves of the terrorist attacks on Raffore Islands have been arrested, all believed to be citizens of Fornax Empire.

Following the arrest of the suspected terrorists, the curfew has been lifted. The state-of-emergency has also been lifted and all flight services will return back to normal by midday May 2 2009.
