Absolutely fantastic bid, the best thus far.
The effort involved is immense on many levels from lot editing to the creation of the parks and actual bid PDF.
Truly lovely work.

Amazing, simply amazing, from the venues to the transportation to the layout of the bid simply amazing.
Two things sort of food for thought.
I think the Velodrome's design is a little out of place, particularly the red in the design. You have a lot of blue, white and green on your green and the red seems a little strange. might i suggest the HBC Buffalo stadium? just a suggestion.
Also I might have missed it but I didn't see a single baseball staduim you plan to use for baseball or a softball stadium (wait are we still doing softball)
Beside those two things absolutely stunning great job on the bid overall.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Duhrrr lol my bad, i was like "craig said the full bid was up, but the only thing i see is bids and the same mosaic....". Wow. Well this is certainly a unique and interestingly innovative way to bid! Gunna be tough to beat!
Re: Leah 2009 [Comments]
I don't think we do baseball or softball anymore =/ my baseball stadium is being used for something else.
Buffalo arena is kind of low quality, so i won't use that. Personally, I like the Cologne arena that I used
Thanks Peter, I was almost a little insulted by that "simple" comment xD
edit: I got confused with the olympics, who've removed baseball. I'll change around some things in the next couple of days to get that baseball stadium back as baseball...and find a new BMX venue =/

I've been working on the idea a couple of weeks, most of the work has been in the last two weeks...I've turned into a hermit xD
Thanks for the comments, but I don't think its as clear cut as you're making out

I could photoshop the cologne arena blue, wouldn't too hard and would also be a little unique I'll give it a go and see what it turns out like

I've seen you City Journal on Simtropolis, and I'm actually dumbfounded that you haven't put Leah for the Simlympics yet! MY FAVORITE city journal EVER (no joke) and really glad to see you've bid!

Re: Leah 2009 [Comments]
greekman not to insult craig but not everyone in the ISC is gooing to be in love with his bid you yourself have put up a strong bid as have the others. I haven't even come close to making up my mind and likely won't until bidding comes to a close even then it may take till the actuall voting for me to figure out who I like the best. I think the bar was raised ages ago in fact this isn't the first time I've seen the bid book concept used(craig no offese meant I know it's hard work and it is noticed). so in short or long don't give up greekman keep up your work and keep your bid going.
Re: Leah 2009 [Comments]
I agree Canuck I know the bid book idea was done before (the teasers videos were only a bit of fun) The Simlympics have NEVER been clear cut, and never will be

Re: Leah 2009 [Comments]
i am not giving up. if i lose to craig i won't complain or be upset. i'd be happy that craig won. the only way to get craig back would be with a classic power point bid which i might do if it's allowed. this round of bids are going to be intense! so many good bidders....

Re: Leah 2009 [Comments]
actually greekman the bid book didn't impress me as much thinsg like video's and bid books are lost on me as I look at the actuall city and venues more than the catchy graphics and all the likes.
so in my view without all that your all on the same par as it's unfair to judge someone's bid on photoshopping as not everyone can do it
