The Newest State in the Union Lacroix Islands have had a great Shield and Tournament history. Even with having some of their brightest and best stars being poached by Marceau, Inverness and Rorysville. Their Challenge Shield History includes 2 Apperances in the finals (1993,1996) With 1 Shield Championship in 1996.They've Hosted the Shield 4 Times (1982,1992,1998,2007).Outside the Shield they've made 6 Aperances in the Dominion Challenge Final(as 2 seperate territories Lacroix Islands,Isle du Lac)(1955,1956,1958, 1964,1965,1968) Winning it twice(1956,1964).They've also made 5 Apperances in the Territorial Games Tournament Final(as 2 Territories Pearl Islands,Island Territories) 5 Times(1972,1972,1974,1976,1982) winning it twice(1972,1982).They've made 2 Apperances in the Union Shield Final(2008,2009) Winning it this year(2009).They've never made a Qualifier Cup Final.

so Lacroix is seperated by states, I thought it was divided into provinces.

mayorm-nope actually Lacroix is a State it'self up until this july they were a territory. the territry had been diveded at different stages by wars and battles for territorial rights. It was unified into 1 large territory known as the Island Territories then they took the name of the Lacroix Islands when they were granted statehood. Rorysville is made up of 12 States(in order of statehood-Rorysville, York, Inverness, Polaris, Marceau, Aubin, Northlands, Sherbrooke, St.Joliet, Douglas Islands, Ste.Pierre, Lacroix Islands) now within each state are counties/districts and regional sections. In the case of the Lacroix Islands each Island in the chain is it's own County.

Sherbrooke is one of the Marceau Influenced states.It's economy is on the upswing as it's becomming an Aerospace Capital.It's Shield history has been far from illustrious making the shield Final twice (2002,2004) and winning it once in 2002. They've made the Qualifier Cup final once in 2001 and have never won that competition. They had limmited success in the Dominion Shield making the finals 3 times(1959,1960,1962) and winning it in 1960. Sherbrooke's finally fallen under a new sporting commision who want tos ee their state's profile raised and they have raised the budget for training as well as newer grassroots and development programs to try and get more high end professional athletes from the State.The results of that influence have been seen as they made the Union Shield Finals in 2007 and have qualified for both the 2008 and this year's Challenge Shield.

Northlands has become one of the booming State economically and with an influx in population comes an improvemnet in talent. Historically Northlands has had a decent history. Northlands has Made the Challenge Shield Finals twice(1975,1997) Winning it in 1997. They've hosted the Challenge shield 3 Times(1981,1993,1999). In the Qualifier Cup Competition they've made the Finals once and won it in 2002. They look to build appon a strong showing in last years Shield where they saw a Semi-Finals apperance.

This team started with a young core 2 years ago and has now raised it'sself into the top teams level.In the Challenge Shield they've made the finals 9 times(1942, 1954, 1976, 1982, 1985, 1989, 1990, 1991, 2000).
