Sypogen | Joint-bid for the August 2010 Games Empty Sypogen | Joint-bid for the August 2010 Games

In the Donaxeration of Fornax, a proud member of the Alliance of Independent Nations, two countries are in the same situation as Earth's North Korea and South Korea. Since 1931, North Moren and South Moren (countries of the continent of Freecax of the planet Fornax) has been separated due to different views of running the country.

Slogan: The Step towards Reunification

Background Information
During the 1924 General Election, the Democratic Morenese Party (DMP) won 46% of the number of seats of the Parliament, but wasn't officially the ruling party of the nation as it didn't win the required 75% of the number of seats of the Parliament. The next leading party, Moren Monarch Party (MMP), won 41% of the number of seats of the Parliament. As both Parties failed to discuss the matter with one another through peaceful despite numerous attempts, both Parties and its supporters begun to campaign against one another, up to the point there the campaigning leads to a riot in Moren City.

As the army was also divided of their views between which political party to side with, DMP army supporters began fighting against the MMP army supporters, leading to a full-scale civil war. Eventually, the war ended in 1931 with an armistice, with the DMP and its supporters gaining control of the smaller but urbanised North Moren and MMP and its supporters gaining control of the larger but undeveloped South Moren. Both sides have also built a Moren Wall along the border. The hostile treatment between the two Morens continued ever since.

However, in 1978, the Unified People of Fornax Party (UPF) of North Moren, which the 1976 General Election, soften its hostility with South Moren as the Donaxeracy of Fornax begun was created with North Moren as one of the founding members of the Donaxeracy. However, South Moren remain cold towards North Moren until 1992 when the Monarchy government was overthrown by the military junta. South Moren then join the Donaxeracy of Fornax and it too began to soften its hostility towards North Moren. A democratic party then became the government of South Moren in 1993 and begun to discuss with North Moren about reunification. However, up till now, both sides have not reached to an agreement of a reunification due to totally different political views.

After the October 2009 Summer Simlympic Games, both the North Moren athletics official and the South Moren athletics official have discuss of a potential joint-bid between the two nations in Leah, Paranor Island. During the 1st Fornax IOC Summit in October 2009 held in Peace City, both North Moren and South Moren have announced that it may bid for the August 2010 Summer Simlympic Games.

Agenda

  • Get an official agreement from both sides for a joint-bid
  • Decide on the location of the Simlympic Venues
  • Begin a master plan for the Simlympic Venues
  • Create a bid for the August 2010 Games

The People of Fornax will Unite as One, and it Begins With Reunification

The airport is fantastic, except for the tall buildings in the centre =/ I really think you should reduce them to nothing more than half the current height...maybe even less. Besides that, the terminal building look great and everything is spaced nicely (:

The logo and map are very good too (:

Due to the recent hostility between Fornax and its neighbouring country, Prenca, the progress of the Sypogen bid has confirm been put on hold and it may be cancelled should the situation gets worse.
