Winter PAS (Points Allocation System) [PAS now offline]

Our Points Allocation System allows competitors to decide which sports
their athletes should do best in, all from one easy to use spreadsheet.

Each
competing nation receives 500 points which they can use to assign to
all the different Simlympic sports. With the new system, nations can
now chose not to compete in certain sports simply by assigning that
sport with 0 points.

PAS is now Open for the February Simlympics. It will close again one week before the start of the games.

Bonus points:
25
for every Simlympics attended (Competing in the Simlympics raises the
profile of sport in the country, thus meaning the country is more
likely to win medals)
100 for the host nation (The host nation
always receives a boost thanks to home crowds and being familiar with
the venues, climate etc)
50 for past hosts (Hosting a Simlympics
raises the profile of sport in the country significantly, thus meaning
the country is more likely to win medals)
50 for past bids (Bidding
for the Simlympics raises the profile of sport in the country
significantly, thus meaning the country is more likely to win medals)

i have a problem with the excel document. When i try opening it says its encrypted

That's because it is. What version of excel are you using?

im using Numbers the mac version. I can open every other excel file you guys had in past PAS. Not this one. Every excel PAS you've done ive opened with Numbers

Nope. Only excel it will try to open. Anyway it could be unencrypted?

Guys. there's a slight problem with your spreadsheets. If you don't want to have headaches later, I suggest you to look at the "Total Points Allocated". It only counts the points from 51 to 9x (I dunno). Change that line with :
"=IF(K47="Yes";"N/A";SUM(M51:M95)+SUM(V51:V136))"

It won't give you any problems Matt - its just there to remind you how many points you've used. A calculator (or your brain) will do the same job just as well.

Any problem if I sent it to top.slaker@gmail.com ? Cause that was the address in the PAS.

ummm well we might not get it as Slacker is on hiatus at the moment I just recently updated the PAS forms to include the proper email as well as point starting(something I just noticed lol)

so if you could re-send it to simlympics@gmail.com that'd be helpfull
